4 Steps to Install Your Airbrush Auxiliary Lever

Installing the tiny auxiliary lever is the trickiest part of reassembling your airbrush. If it is in backward or crooked, the trigger won't work.

Step 1: Orientation is Everything

Before you put the lever in, you must know which way it faces. Look at its shape:

• The SMALL END must face UP (top of the airbrush)
• The CURVE must face the BACK (away from the nozzle).

Step 2: The Sideways Secret

You cannot drop the lever straight down. The opening is too narrow for the curve.You MUST use needle-nose pliers to hold the lever SIDEWAYS (flat), as shown.

Step 3: Sideways Insertion

Use the pliers to lower the sideways lever into the slot. Maintain its flat orientation until it is fully inside the airbrush body.

Step 4: Seat and Rotate

Now that the lever is inside the body, you must put it in the working position.

Use your pliers (or a toothpick) to gently turn the lever 90 degrees. As you rotate it, ensure the curve is perfectly seated against the back wall of the channel. The small end is now pointing straight up.

Success! Your lever is installed, and you can now install the main trigger.
